Update – 01/11/20 Unfortunately there’s currently a problem with NordVPN servers (and many other VPN providers) connecting to ITV Hub at the moment. This is not something caused by the VPN so it was my specific problem ! If you’re still having an issue with ITV not working with VPN services it’s worth checking another browser to see if the problem remains or visit the to check for related issues. I had a Chrome extension which was causing the problem and my connection was leaking it’s location through DNS.

Basically my PC was giving away my location to ITV player through an external program. I actually should have been able to watch ITV Hub sometime ago but I discovered another issue which I’d caused. Update – 03/05/21 Slightly late update but great news ITV Hub is now working fine with my Nord VPN service.
